Welcome to Advent! This is an uncomfortable season. We already love Jesus and yet we are asked to wait to celebrate him. As we wait and watch during the four weeks of Advent, we turn our attention to John the Baptist. Instead of jumping instantly into the Christmas story, we are first going to listen to John crying out in the wilderness.
