Isaiah 6:1-8

1. When have you experienced the overwhelming presence of God? How did that experience impact your life?
2. When Isaiah encounters the glory of God, he is overcome with his own inadequacy. Spend some time confessing to God (you may choose to do this privately or as a group).
3. In response to Isaiah’s confession, he is purified by a living coal, a painful and restorative process. Think about some “living coals” you have experienced in your own life. What are some examples of “living coals” we experience?
4. Have you ever clearly heard the voice of God? In what ways do you feel you “hear” from God?
5. What do you feel God is calling you to? And how will  you respond to that calling?
